Clearly explained how to approach problems and walked through the underlying logic. Also offered multiple opportunities for students to ask questions and participate. The tutor also had an assessment and a practice problem document prepared, so very organized and had a clear plan laid out for the session!

This showed strong emotional intelligence and an understanding of test-day psychology. Adaptability was evident throughout.

He balanced between presenting and checking for understanding well. To enhance participation even more, Ilya could occasionally cold-call (gently) or pose multiple-choice “poll-style” questions to break up lecture sections and maintain momentum.
