Hi! My name is Hemanth and in this series, we will go through the full course of Pre-Algebra from Khan Academy. Before joining this series, it would be advised that you have some basic understanding how math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) and can do basic coordinate graphing. However, even if you are not fully sure of how these work, this is still a great place to be because we will all be learning together!

We will be covering all the topics in Algebra 2 that have to do with Polynomials. It would be helpful if you had some higher-level understanding of math concepts such as basic coordinate graphing and how to do basic math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division). The topics from Khan Academy we will be covering are: - Multiplying by Polynomials - Polynomial Factorization - Polynomial Division - Polynomial Graphs

We will go through the basic Java concepts. I recommend anyone who has never coded in Java before start here! If you already have some knowledge or took the APCSA course last year/semester and are looking to brush up on some skills, I also highly recommend you enroll in this course.

If you already have some knowledge or took the APCSA course last year and are looking to brush up on some skills, I also highly recommend you enroll in this course. This course covers only the very basic concepts so I plan to host a Java intermediate course in the future. My Qualifications I have a very strong computer science background having dealt with a variety of different programming languages from a very young age. I have experience in HTML, CSS, Python, and Java. I have both an entry-level and an associate-level certification in Python from Python Institute, which I achieved in middle school. These certifications test me in complex concepts and show my deep understanding and knowledge I have a foundational-level certification in Java from Oracle. This exam is very similar in content to the APCSA exam delivered by the College Board. I have studied the concepts thoroughly and achieved a pass with 90%. I also plan to go further and take higher-level certifications in Java to further my knowledge.

This will be a two-part series covering everything you need to know about Absolute Value and Piecewise Functions. I highly recommend that you have a good understanding of how a coordinate grid works and how to graph different kinds of functions, mainly linear functions.
