Thank you for this amazing session! I've never thought deeply about policing before, but this session allowed me to deeply analyze the importance of enhancing strategies for effective policing, in which the police workforce would have more respect and less intimidation/fear, especially in regards to marginalized communities. This would ensure that there isn't systemic racism embedded in the policing. Moreover, fostering connections between policing and social services would help those with mental health problems; defunding is not the solution, as the police are very integral and require more training. Defunding correlates with less training and worse quality.

Thank you for hosting his session on the Death Penalty! At first, I was nervous about this topic, but the way you’ve introduced it before we went to the breakout rooms was really great! The conversation partners had different perspectives, but I find it awesome that we were able to find connections between us and develop ideas about rehabilitation services, community voting, etc. 10/10 recommend this series! Haifa K and Praty G always facilitate the sessions beautifully! :)

It was amazing that I was able to discuss with my Dialogues partner about US foreign intervention and discuss real-life events, both in historical and contemporary America.

I enjoyed it, maybe more total group discussion would be good, but I appreciated you sharing your own views in the end, and it was helpful to see what being a club president may be like, because I am going to be one soon, and wanted to get a good sense of how it would look like!
