The learner was able to approach problems by themself after your guidance on the first question. I think the learner became more confident in what exactly an integral is and how to use the notation properly. The learner was able to catch their own mistakes as well.

You clearly showed deep understanding of implicit differentiation because of your helpful examples, explanations, and notes. You were effectively able to extrapolate a tough concept, explain it, and build off to ensure the learner understood everything. At several points, she asked application-based questions which you could still explain very thoroughly. You excel in calculus, and did very well explaining such a tough concept!

I noticed that you started off the session by making sure the learner could hear you - this is super important! Then you asked them whether they wanted you to share your screen or were planning on doing something else before getting into the question. I also liked that you annotated on the shared screen to explain. Overall, good job only explaining content when necessary - as long as you can understand when this is, your approach seems to work nicely.

The way that you explained the variety of questions on the learner's practice exam demonstrated your knowledge! Most of the questions were complex and consisted of multiple steps, but you took your time to get to the answer. Your venn diagram explanation for question 13 was spot on and highly effective. You were able to break down each question in a very understandable way. Rather than only explaining the problems, you broke them down well enough for your learner to work them out independently. Throughout the session, you integrate diagrams, explanations, and even real-life examples to explain these quantitative reasoning-based questions. When posed with a question, you explained them with great clarity.

You did an excellent job explaining the concept of the domain with radicals. Factoring is an excellent way to approach it along with a sign chart, to which you used for each problem explaining what does and does not fall into the domain. Additionally, the concept of "critical points" (not for derivatives) is an excellent way to find the domain since you don't miss intervals and you keep the work organized. Additionally, the initial reminder of how radicals work is also an excellent way to approach the idea of its domain. (as a reminder). You also ask questions to your learner, which is an excellent approach for them to how to solve the problem before you followed up at the end.

I noticed that you asked the learner appropriate guiding questions to steer them in the right direction. It's interesting to see the problems being covered as they're the same from a post the learner had made. Also seems like you understood Pascal's triangle from the questions you were asking--connecting the idea of raising numbers to a given power.
