New learners are always welcome!! In this series, there are two sessions every single day for a whole year! We have one in the morning and one in the evening, you can pick which of those you want to attend based on your schedule. How it works: We go over the pronunciation, definition, synonyms and antonyms, origin, (and maybe some fun facts) and how to use the word in a sentence. There is always a super fun Kahoot about the word. Then we have idiom of the day where we introduce a new idiom, it's meaning, and how it's used in a sentence. Then, at the very end, we have two quotes of the day! They may be inspirational, or funny, or both! I hope to see you there! These sessions are perfect for expanding your vocabulary.

Work through challenging math problems from the DSAT from 780+ scorers

Hey everyone! Each week, we'll explore a new song, including its story, background, and maybe even some LOOOOOORRREEEE. To end every session off, there will be a guess the lyrics challenge and possibly, for the brave-hearted, some karaoke time! Song suggestions are welcome as long as they are clean.

This is a series consisting of 8 back-to-back 3-hour sessions to make for a "mega-session" lasting for a total of 24 hours. 🎉 You are not required to join all eight sessions. Come and join us for the greatest, longest, most exciting study session EVER on Schoolhouse! We aim to shatter the record for the longest study session ever hosted by participating in this 24-hour mega study session. Come grind your summer plans, whether it be: - conducting research in the most esoteric depths of mathematical analysis, - cleaning out your bedroom which you have not been able to make yourself clean for the past year, - torturing your fingers to master La Campanella on the violin, - anything in between! You do not have to stay for the entire 24 hours, as long as you are able to come. We welcome as many tutors in as many different timezones as possible to cohost the session! This record-breaking event cannot happen without a joint effort of many, many tutors. In the spirit of most study space series on Schoolhouse, we will also use the well-celebrated Pomodoro technique of 25-minute study times and 5-minute breaks. We can do this! 💪

These game nights are super chill and a fun time! Every session, we will review for the SAT with fun games including Kahoots, Blookets, Gimkits, etc. We will also review missed questions together!

Each session, we will go over vocabulary that is likely to appear on the SAT R&W section. We will do some practice with the vocab and go over tips & tricks of how to solve these types of questions! After 2-3 sessions, we will play a fun game covering the vocab from those sessions!

Every week, we will go over a domain in reading and writing and math. We will go over each topic/concept in the domain and review tips and tricks. This series is targeted toward beginners who are looking to fill concept gaps, but everyone is welcome!

Each week, we'll progress through information that will help prepare you for AP Lang. We'll start with background and move through the essays, MCQs and general tips / prep.

I plan to go over practice questions and solve them. For the first 15 min, we will either focus on concepts and review and in the second 15 min we will go over questions that learners bring. I will be adding sessions and changing the session times depending on interest and requests!!

This is an intensive course on SAT Math. In this course we will go over different topics each week and try to make an improvement in ourselves. I have 780 score in SAT Math but that was in August 2023. I have taken A level courses on Math and Prob&Stat, so I think I am able to guide you along this journey. Thx)

This is a help series for Eve O. I have created a study schedule for her to prep for her August SAT test!

In each class, we will cover new topics on the SAT Math section, cover the types of questions, and cover strategies to tackle them as well as other means of solving said questions. I hope you all are ready to get that score you've worked so hard for!

Read, analyze, and discuss some astounding poetic masterpieces (as well as lesser-known works) from writers throughout history! First session is June 22.

Each week, we'll go over various topics/questions related to the trig/geometry section of the DSAT. These will be easier/difficult depending on which learners prefer/want practice on!

Throughout this series, we will be learning about both FBLA and DECA and the various competitions that you can compete in. No matter what experience level you have with these clubs, I am here to help you overcome any confusion you might have and provide tips that I have learnt from my competing! We will be able to review all of the types of events that each club has, and we will look at examples of each type as well. There will also be opportunities to practice presentations and these events in a safe environment! We will be taking a look at rubrics and self scoring ourselves as well. By the end of this series, I hope you all will have a comprehensive idea of what each club consists of, and be able to practice/start your projects! *The final lesson plan is being finalized, so there may be a few minor changes in the series, especially after the first session. However, if you aren't able to make a session and really want to get the information, I am happy to schedule a make up session!

Basically when we meet a couple tutors will look over writing, give writing tips and some tips for essays in AP Lang.
