There was definite progress of the students since they were able to learn tricks on desmos and get all of their questions answered in a well explained way.

You created a comfortable environment especially after you asked the students to do some independent practice and then share answers. You then went over the questions together. This is great because you were able to incorporate independent thinking and then coming together as a group to get and understand the answers. Giving the students time for practice was a great way to gauge how it went for them with both time and concepts so that you could help them with their struggles.

It was also great how you asked everyones experience with desmos and other tools before using them. You also would constantly ask if what you were doing was ok with the students and you constantly checked in with their learning. Doing stardardized questions from the Princeton Review was also a great way to start practicing questions that test the same concepts as the real SAT and have the same structure.

There is definitely evidence that you know your material especially since you have taken the SAT before and are therefore familiar with the content. While this session was more open-ended for questions or skills students wanted to perfect, you definitely knew what you were talking about and were patient with your teachings.
