You began the session by introducing the topic and explaining key grammar concepts, showing clear preparation and content mastery. Your explanation of the difference between “it’s” and “its” was straightforward and helpful: “It’s with an apostrophe is the contraction. It stands for it is, but its without the apostrophe is the possessive.” You also demonstrated strong understanding of SAT Reading strategies when teaching how to identify the goal of a research study: “This is saying what he wants to accomplish. So maybe this is right. The second one is talking about the method. It’s talking about what they did. This can’t be it because we’re trying to find the primary aim.” These step-by-step approaches made the concepts clear for the learner.
