This session was good both tutors really helped I liked the idea of thinking of your answer before seeing the answer choices

I like how the classes are formatted because they aren't totally instructional and don't also feel like your doing it a whole test, but instead it's disguised as a fun interactive blooket.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us! This practice is going to be so advantageous when the time comes to take my test.

Whenever you showed questions on the slides presentation or on the PDF, many people replied with their answer in the public chat, showing how effective this method really is. Furthermore, the addition of the blooket was a fun "twist" that definitely kept many people engaged, and personally, would have made me come back to one of your seminars (if I had taken it). In the beginning, when you went over grammar questions, you also gave people the opportunity to answer many questions about sentence structure. It worked very well, with over 30 people responding to each question! There's not really anything I can say to improve in this section. Well done!

From the start, Charlotte, you built an environment where learners were encouraged to share their answers in the chat. You responded to many people's favorite band/artist near the beginning, and that makes the session feel a lot more relaxed. When you were explaining the questions, you took time to address some common misconceptions (e.g. for the photography question, some people read it wrong), and instead of just saying that it's "incorrect" or "wrong", you reflected big-picture about how difficult these questions are. Danica, by answering questions in the chat with an encouraging tone, you showed that you really care about the learners. Whenever a misconception came up in chat, you took time to structure your response so that your tone would be encouraging rather than disparaging. Nicely done!!!

I like the combination of hosts that was present during the session. I liked how they worked together to both provide an acessibility during the session. The chat communication was worked with one of them while the other was working to explain the questions presented.

Hey, Charlotte and Danica! First of all, I love the tutoring style y'all did in this session with a whopping count of 52 people! At first, I thought the session would have some issues with keeping engagement, but no, 38/52 people joined your booklet, and we can see that they performed really well! One person said "i guess i missed the blooket, aw man", showing how you know your audience :) I love y'all's style of Charlotte explaining the questions and quickly glancing over chat while Danica answered any questions in the chat. For example, one person asked what "ephemera" was, and Danica answered within 30s. I can definitely tell from a learner's perspective that it made them feel like they were individually included -- not just part of a giant 50-person seminar. Very nice structure/format! Charlotte, your understanding of the material and explanations were very nice, especially the marine biology question, where you explained your thought process and broke the question down step-by-step. I like how you used POE to cross out 3 out of the 4 ones, and then finally explain the correct answer. That way, no matter what answer a person gave, they were able to understand (1) why the answer choice they chose was incorrect and (2) why the correct answer is what it is.

You clearly have a very natural speaking style and relate to the learners excellently! Especially with the icebreakers, a little relating goes a long way to make them feel more comfortable. If anything, I would recommend sharing some stories about your own experiences with the SAT.
