I like how you welcomed the learners, and for those who were new you explained the series to them and what they have to do. Additionally, encouraging learners to share about their love for the book, or their favorite character in the book would be a good way to connecting with your learners and being more welcoming. You did great strengthening the learner's confidence and assuring they were doing well as they read out loud!

Thank you for hosting this session! Although it was short, it was super fun! I loved reading out loud, something I don't do much. I got to sharpen my reading-out-loud skills and read one of my favorite books at the same time. What a win-win!

This was a book club so not much understanding of material was needed, but the tutor was prepared with the online copy of the book so everyone could have access to it!
