This is my 2nd AP Physics 1 series that I am hosting. During my freshman year, I scored a 5 on the AP Physics 1 exam. My goal in this series is to help you do the same! Each week we will discuss a different topic from the AP Physics curriculum for the first while working on AP style problems to get ready for the school year. I will be using materials from Khan Academy as well as sample AP problems and physics worksheets. There will be a heavy emphasis on the core concepts of physics which comprise of the first two units of AP Physics 1. This is because they are the most important units in order to understand physics and do well in the class as well as exam.

By the end of this 5-week course, you will have a strong foundation in basic and intermediate circuit design using TinkerCAD, as well as experience programming Arduino. You will develop a solid understanding of electrical components such as resistors, transistors, potentiometers, and more. You will also be able to perform circuit calculations, understanding voltage, current, and resistance using Ohm's Law and Kirchhoff's Laws. This curriculum is designed to provide practical, hands-on experience that emphasizes real-world applications and project-based learning.

In this session, we will explore the fundamentals of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) using Onshape. You will learn how to create both 2D and 3D drawings and parts, along with an introduction to basic manufacturing techniques. Each class will introduce new tools and methods, followed by hands-on practice through a guided drawing exercise. Emphasis will be placed on the practical, real-world applications of the software and various manufacturing methods.
