He kept the mood light by admitting he hated poetry on his own SAT and reminding us that mistakes are normal, which made everyone feel less stressed. He ended with genuine praise, thanked us for our questions, and gave clear next-step practice plans so we feel ready rather than overwhelmed. Maybe he could point out when someone gets an answer right to boost confidence even more, but his friendly tone and steady encouragement made class feel safe and supportive.
