A great moment was at the end. When Leigh asked about noun gender, you didn't just give a short answer, but you went back to your previous session's materials and did a deep dive. You caught that she was confused between gender-neutral endings (like -ista) and irregulars (like el mapa), and you stayed late to walk her through examples until it clicked. That’s exactly the kind of flexibility that makes a session valuable.

The rapport you built was excellent from the start, catalyzed by the icebreaker you did t begin. You were very open about being a student yourself, which made the environment feel much less intimidating. You explicitly told the group, "It’s okay if you get it wrong," which is the most important thing a language learner needs to hear. By using their names and laughing off your own singing voice, you created a space where people felt comfortable participating. You stayed behind to help a single student with a specific question, which shows you’re genuinely invested in their progress.
