This series is designed for learners with ANY level of Mandarin skills, from 0 to almost fluent. Why is that? Because instead of teaching you vocab, grammar rules, and pronunciation tips, I’ll be telling you the best ways to learn Mandarin so you can figure those out yourself. This series is best when combined with a systematic/traditional course on Mandarin (you can find those on YouTube, or even if you’re taking one in school), but it’s completely fine if you just want to listen to me talk. There will be weekly lessons and bi-weekly office hours. In the lessons, we’ll be going over each of the different methods. In the office hours I’ll be helping you out with whatever you bring. It could be your Mandarin homework, a passage you don’t understand fully, or a grammar rule you’re confused about. If you wish, you could also just chat with me in Mandarin to improve your pronunciation or comprehension skills! If you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment or message me. Each session, we will go over a Chinese poet. We will analyze their poems, their style, their background, and try to replicate their writing style ourselves! NO Mandarin skills are required for this series, as everything will be in English.

We'll have calm studying spaces where you can just chill and work. Everyone will be muted, so don't worry about disturbances. You can have your camera on if you wish, but that is definitely not mandatory. I will have my camera on. You are welcome to type a to-do list in the chat to motivate yourself as long as it is appropriate :)

Want to take your Mandarin to the next level? This is perfect for you! We will have casual conversations in Mandarin with each other, so you can speak more fluently. Requirements: You must be able to open your mic because we will be talking. Prerequisites: At least intermediate-level Mandarin (You can join at any time during the series. I'll be adding more sessions)

I plan to cover all the basics of python. No prior coding experience or knowledge is needed. There will be homework and quizzes, so be prepared. For more info, check the session descriptions. I will only cover the basics for now, but I will add more intermediate and advanced topics if a lot of people decide to learn. I can schedule sessions just for you if you would like to join in at some point during the series and need to catch up. All the software we will be using will be free.

We'll go through all topics of Pre-Algebra each day. There will be Q&A/review sessions, assessments, and some more challenging questions at the end of my series. This is quite a fast-paced course, so be ready to learn! No prior knowledge is required.
