I really appreciate how at the very beginning of the session you had an ice breaker question. This primes the students to connect they are about to learn in the tutoring session with what they already know. The tutor also encouraged the learners to take turns solving each of the problems by themselves and asked them to take turns sharing their solutions.

I like how the tutor refers to each of the students by name because that makes the learners feel seen and safe to share their ideas. I also enjoyed seeing how you show understanding towards your students when they admitted that they did not know all of the math terms in English. The tutor also did a good job telling the students that they did a great job solving the problem, that is encouraging for students to hear.
