Your visuals were nice. I like how you showed what worked with the robot and what wouldn't. You really explained everything really well and made sure to explain in a way that wasn't too hard for the learners to grasp. I also like how you reminded the learners about the competition and what to remember for a robot competition.

I think you guys did an amazing job of explaining and discussing what cross-examination is because you gave the learners a definition of cross-examination, and then went further to discuss what its purpose is, along with some tips on how to conduct cross-examination. Apart from verbally explaining what cross-examination is, you guys thought of a very creative activity to engage the learners and encourage them to communicate more: by splitting them into groups and making them go through a full debate where they got a chance to practice this skill. I personally thought this idea was pretty cool and you guys conducted this pretty efficiently. You guys, especially Aneesh, were able to accurately answer the learners' questions, and did a great job on that. I do not see any room for improvement because you did an amazing job!

Great job checking in with the learner to gauge their prior knowledge, and great job using that information to draft up your own 'curriculum' for the learner, based on state curriculum! Specifically, I liked how you asked what topic the learner wanted to start off with (Dred Scott, Civil War, etc)! You also did a great job checking yourself when you started to explain the Missouri Compromise on your own, but stopped to check in on your learner! Throughout the session, you were very consistent with checking in with the learner and figuring out what they wanted/needed to learn (dred scott, gettysburg, etc).

The learner was continuously engaged via the mic throughout the session. Although the session was primarily driven by you, the tutor, you did a good job with checking in with Jacob to make sure he was understanding the material and comfortable with the topic before moving on!
