About

Hi I am a high school sophomore currently, I want to help students of all backgrounds achieve their potential and succeed. I like to self-learn topics and master them using free resources like Khan Academy. I completed a self study of the SAT exam and got a score of 1500+ in august after freshman year (2024). I love running, outdoors, computers, math, and biology, if you need something let me know and we can arrange a session! :)

I could tell your learners were very comfortable with you, and asked questions when they needed to. One suggestion however, would be to summarize or recap what you went over in the session to give the learners a refresher on what they did in the beginning too. Moreover, your patience and understanding in addressing individual concerns contributed to a positive and supportive atmosphere. Keep up the great work!

The tutor first allows the students to try and solve the question. Then, he annotates over the steps needed to solve the problem, asking side questions to the learners along the way. I particularly liked how in the first question, where the answer was infinitely many solutions (90=90), you mentioned the side case of when a system can have no solutions (for example 89=90). This furthers the learners' understanding of the content and teaches them all scenarios. For the second example, it was also great that you used Desmos to help students visualize the graphs in the problem.

Phenomenal job on this!! You frequently asked and engaged the learners to explain their thinking and thought process, making sure to guide them in the right direction when needed. You were also quick to answer questions! For example, when Nat was hesitant on her work and how she got the correct answer, you allowed her to explain her process, giving you the opportunity to explain a method of finding the parabola intersection. Great job!

Thank you for your help Aaron! Your explanations were very clear and you didn't dwell on things that we didn't have an issue with.
