You adjusted the lesson when students requested grammar and semicolons, and you switched to Khan Academy examples, which showed strong responsiveness to learner needs. When someone couldn’t see the chat on their phone, you paused and resent the question, which helped maintain access. One thing that might help is doing quick understanding checks like asking learners to restate a punctuation rule in their own words before moving on, since a few explanations were long and it was hard to tell if everyone fully followed.

You started the session by letting learners introduce themselves and clearly explained where to find College Board practice, which helped set expectations early. I liked how you consistently modeled strategies like filling in your own word for vocab questions and breaking down text comparisons step by step. One thing that could help even more is slowing slightly when switching between strategies, because sometimes the explanation moved fast (especially during the binary star vocab question), so briefly summarizing the rule before moving on might help learners follow the reasoning more clearly.

Your tone stayed supportive the whole time, especially when you said questions were “tough” or reassured learners after mistakes. I liked how you validated answers before correcting them, which helped keep the environment low-pressure. You could strengthen this even more by highlighting specific reasoning learners used (for example, pointing out why Alexa’s elimination strategy worked), since that reinforces confidence in their thinking process.
