This session will teach you how to solve one and two step equations and also learn about PEMDAS. We will also solve a few SAT algebra problems towards the end!

- We will cover how to move the chess pieces - Some basic openings tips and tricks - common beginner error to watch out for (ex. mate in first 4) - We will practice doing some checkmating patterns - Review blunders, skewers, common tactics, etc - in the sessions to come

- How the chess pieces move - The value of each chess piece - Check, checkmate, and stalemate - Opening rules and tips (ex. knights before bishops) - additional questions

We will start with learning basic foundation to take on a algebra course. Towards the end we will learn about basic algebraic equations and expressions, and how to solve for x. We will also go over the different steps needed to solve for x, including PEMDAS. We will also work with word problems.
