The tutor did excelled at engagement by addressing both returning (Christopher) and new students when joining the session and inviting questions. Aayaan used a highly interactive format by providing practice problems after each main concept (ethics and statistics) and dedicating time for students to solve them independently. He then actively facilitated the review, calling on students by name to share their answers. This structure ensured active participation from everyone present. When explaining the complex normal curve problems, he successfully guided Miranda to verbally explain the multi-step solution, demonstrating Aayaan's careful attention to the effective use of a student's prior knowledge to reinforce the concept for the entire group.

Aayan created a consistently warm and comfortable learning environment. He used an encouraging and casual tone giving positive reinforcement after every student's answer (Good job, Like, on the dot. Good job.). He successfully built a good relationship with the student by opening with a casual greeting and asking students where they were from. The tutor also effectively facilitated peer interaction, for example praising Miranda for her detailed explanation of the normal curve problem and encouraging other students to follow her example. He consistently ended sections by asking for feedback on the part of the session's clarity (Was it pretty easy?) before transitioning to the next topic, showing his desire to keep students involved and confident.

You made the learner feel comfortable- you did engage in conversation with him. The learner didn't make many mistakes, I noticed. but when he did, you made sure to help him understand what went wrong. You also provided general encouragement when they got it right. You said "Yeah! Good" so I liked that. I think when you let them engage with the discussion more, the confidence will also improve, but other than that- this is great.
