SAT Math Tool Mastery: FX-991CW + Desmos

    Starts

This session is focused only on the SAT Math section and how to use Casio FX-991CW and Desmos strategically to boost speed and accuracy. Students will learn the exact calculator and Desmos workflows that fit SAT-style questions: solving equations and systems, working with functions, interpreting graphs, using tables, handling exponentials, and checking answers efficiently under time pressure. We’ll practice with SAT-format problems while building a clear decision rule for when Desmos is faster, when the FX-991CW is safer, and when to do it by hand to avoid traps. The goal is not just knowing the tools, but using them like a high scorer. What you’ll learn: FX-991CW setup + fastest SAT functions (solve, table, stats basics, fraction/decimal handling) Desmos SAT tactics (intersections, sliders, function transforms, regressions, quick graph checks) Time-saving “tool choice” strategy for each SAT domain Common SAT traps and how to verify answers in seconds Who it’s for: SAT students who want a practical, test-ready system to finish faster, miss fewer questions, and score higher on SAT Math.

Math for the March 2026 SAT

Tuesdays 5:00 PM, Sundays 5:00 PM

Hi, my name is Mahmoud, and I’m excited to help you prepare for the SAT Math! I’m a student and a developer, and I’ve spent a lot of time building strong problem-solving skills through math practice, exam prep, and structured learning. In this bootcamp, my goal is simple: help you feel confident, fast, and accurate on SAT Math by teaching you the patterns behind questions—not just the steps. I’ll guide you through the most common SAT Math topics (algebra, functions, advanced math, problem-solving/data analysis, and geometry basics), along with the strategies that make a real difference—like choosing the fastest method, avoiding trap answers, and checking efficiently under time pressure. You’ll get plenty of chances to ask questions, explain your thinking, and learn from others in the group. This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Math. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can! What to expect each week: Targeted skill lessons (the exact concepts SAT questions repeat) Timed practice (to build speed and endurance) Step-by-step walkthroughs (so you learn how to think, not just what to do) Mini-challenges + homework suggestions (optional, but highly recommended) How to get the most out of this bootcamp: Try problems even if you’re unsure—mistakes are how we improve fastest. Ask questions anytime. If you’re confused, someone else probably is too. Be ready to explain your reasoning (that’s how your score goes up). Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.
