You do an amazing job here. Your tone is friendly, patient, warm, and very reassuring. You repeatedly told the learner “You’re good,” “That’s really good,” and “This is amazing,” which clearly boosted their confidence. I also love how you shared a bit about your own tutoring journey—it made you feel relatable and human, which helps the learner relax. You also reacted enthusiastically when the learner shared accomplishments (“You own a business? Oh my gosh!”). This kind of positive response makes the learner feel seen and valued. Keep this up; it’s one of your strongest skills. Just make sure that even when the conversation drifts, you gently steer it back to the content so the learners stay focused.
