Hello, everyone! This club is for anyone interested in puzzles & riddles, such as sudokus, nonograms, or just any mind-boggling challenge! We will warm up with either a riddle, NYT Games (Wordle, Spelling Bee, etc.), or a spot the difference. If you have a puzzle idea, you can suggest it and maybe go over it in the club.

This session is for people who want to ace all areas of linear equations/functions. We will start with slope, then go on to types of linear equations, and then get into graphing. Questions will be asked to foster critical thinking and deepen understanding of the concepts. By the end of this series, you will master all areas of linear equations and also fully grasp the concepts. Prior knowledge required is the basics of what functions are (their definitions), a good foundation on what the coordinate plane is, and the ability to solve variable equations.

Having trouble solving word problems? Not to worry, as this series takes a deep dive into the many word problems you might encounter in Pre-Algebra and Algebra I. This series is not just a lecture on how to solve the word problems, but also fosters critical thinking and problem solving skills between learners by forming reasoning behind their approaches. The session targets percent, speed, variable, and scientific notation problems.

Dive in to Algebra 1 as we explore the basics and foundations of equations and inequalities. We will begin with complex equations and inequalities, then move on to complex word problems, absolute value equations/inequalities, and compound inequalities. Prerequisites to this session include basic understanding of variables and solving one step equations (x+3=9 or 3x=12).

Look no further, as this session provides the fundamentals behind exponent properties. We study not just what the properties are, but how they work and can be used in real life. To join, you will need a basic understanding of what exponents are and represent, and understand PEMDAS and operations fluently. You will need a notebook, pencil, and a calculator.
