Each week we will be going over one random SAT R&W topic until we exhaust everything there is to know about the SAT reading and writing section.

This will be a session where I take a full practice test explaining my thought process for each question so that students can have a model as to how to think when taking the SAT themselves. Followed by a debriefing session. Disclaimer: this will be purely lecture, meaning everyone else besides myself will be muted. Please type any questions you have during this session (highly recommend taking a screenshot of the specific question if you can) in the chat where I will debrief and answer every question in the next session on the next day after this SAT practice test session.

We will be doing practice problems for SAT Math every Wednesday, and I will also lead a guided SAT Practice test going over both sections at a to be determined date.

If there are uneven numbers, you may have two conversation partners. 🤝 Breakout discussions: After the session introduction, everyone will switch to their breakout discussion. Your discussion will be unmoderated, so you can start when your partner arrives in the new Zoom link. 🗺️ Discussion Guide: You will have a topic-specific discussion guide for the session to help guide conversation. ⏰ Session length: The breakout discussions are scheduled for 45 minutes but you can discuss as long as you want! ✅ Stay on topic: Please make sure to stay on topic. If you and your partner run out of things to discuss, it’s okay to end the discussion early. You will not be returning to the main group when your conversation is over. 🤔 Make the discussion your own: You probably won’t have time to answer all the guide questions so pick and choose! Feel free to also bring in your own questions and ideas outside of the guide. 📝 Survey: A mandatory survey will appear at the end of your session to fill out. This must be filled out for you to get credit for the session in your Dialogues portfolio. 🤸‍♂️ Have fun: There is no preparation needed for this event. I will hold weekly sessions for anyone to come by and study for bio where you can ask me any questions or for any explanations regarding biology and I will do my best to assist as someone who has received an A+ in both Honors Biology and AP Biology

Each 2 weeks we will go over roughly half a unit of AP Biology, reviewing important topics and facts students need to know.

Join a virtual Dialogue Club to form a community with students from around the world. Dialogue Clubs meet every other week to discuss a new topic. By participating in 3+ Dialogue sessions, you will get a Dialogues portfolio you can submit with your college applications to our university partners.

Each week will contain one of the 4 math topics: Algebra, Advanced Math, Problem-Solving and Data Analysis, and Geometry and Trigonometry. We will also be going over how to use Desmos to its fullest potential for answer as many questions as possible on the Math section of the SAT.

Each session, we will practice some questions together, discuss them among each other, and share insights and strategies. As you are preparing for the next SAT or just looking to start your way, this is a place to refresh your concepts. *Note: This is intended for an informal practice.
