The tutor noticed when students faced difficulties (“I think the last one would just be pronounced...”, “Sorry to be like picky, but just letting you know”). When Eleanor expressed uncertainty (“For some reason mine's not showing”), the tutor responded supportively, waited for her, and clarified. In another case, the tutor quickly recognized a language gap and modeled a successful Google search for “sometimes” in French (“Let's do a quick little Google search. Oh, parfoy, okay…”). This demonstrates strong awareness and responsiveness. The tutor adjusted pace and format as needed (e.g., repeats directions, offers extra time, allows students to look up words, and clarifies pronunciation rules when needed).

The tutor regularly called on students by name, encouraged participation (“Libby, do you want to start us off?”, “Sabrina, do you want to go next?”), and ensured each student had opportunities to contribute throughout the session. They responded positively to students’ answers, provided affirmations (“Perfect. That was amazing”), and invited questions (“Let me know if you have any questions on this one”). This consistent focus on interaction kept learners engaged at an advanced level. no improvements honestly just keep up the amazing work

The tutor gave frequent praise (“That was amazing,” “Perfect. Thank you so much,” "Amazing. By the way, September is Sitcombra... but amazing"). When students made mistakes, feedback was gentle, turning errors into learning moments without discouraging. You could tell the students were having a great time from their active engagement and also the tutor was having a blast teaching them!

Julianna, Beuatiful Beautiful BEAUTIFUL, job tutoring you clearly are amazing at French you provided prouniaction tips allowed the students to answer had a whole slideshow prepapred on neaarpod and made sure everyone was bale to interact! You ackowledged some people were more advanced than others and still kept at a relatively good stable pace on diff sayings liek how you are where you are from, how to ask for help etc! You also had questions regarding basic day to day french ready for the students which was great as well

In terms of engaging the learners, you guys did an amazing job by asking questions quite frequently throughout the session. Even though most learners were answering through the chat, you still made sure to acknowledge their responses. Also, including a Kahoot game was a great choice to boost learner involvement in the session. Keep it up! Engaging learners also ties into encouraging them to explain their thinking. Like I mentioned before, even though the learners answered through the chat, you still asked open-ended questions (for example, the hypothetical scenarios) to let them share their thought process. Nice work!
