You were able to adapt to your learner's mic not working. You were able to understand where your learner slipped up based on their working, and explain concepts accordingly e.g. multiplication with different signs. Pacing was good and well-adapted to the learner.

You were able to constantly ask the learner questions and give examples to supplement concepts. You were also able to break questions down into smaller steps for your learner, which helped with their thinking step-by-step even if their microphone did not work. You also asked for specific formulas on how your learner got to a specific answer, which I think helps with understanding as well. Lots of practice questions of different types were incorporated.

The session was really insightful and I loved her you acknowledge the points each person made regarding a problem. Taking the practice test compelled me to take one on my own as I have been indolent on taking one myself

Even when the learner got a question wrong, you understood their struggles very well and reassured/ reaffirmed them. The tone for the lesson was very calm and comfortable. This was a well-led session!

Lesson materials were well-prepared. I liked how you incorporated analogies (e.g. hill for slope) to explain concepts to your learner. You were also able to use the Zoom Annotate function well which helped with explaining. You explained concepts clearly and it is obvious that you are familiar with the topic.
