Are You Ready For SAT Math?

    Ended Mon, Aug 8, 2022

In this series, we will go over an SAT math calculator and SAT math no calculator section in depth before the August SAT so that you can see what are some areas you need to work on and so that you get some practice. I will also go over some helpful resources in regards to SAT math that can help you better prepare for the test. Some things we will do during the session: - Although there is no timer, I will be rushing everyone because we need to practice completing the questions fast. - A Google Form will be sent to you so that you can record your answers. This way, I can provide feedback on some areas you need to work on and I can do a general review before the series is over. - I will go in-depth on each question while providing some resources for if you want to do more practice on a particular question. - This is an interactive series! I will constantly be asking everyone questions so that you remain engaged through the series. Note: Dates and times are subject to change.

Intro to Aerospace Engineering (alternate)

The original session is this: https://schoolhouse.world/session/34044. I created this session for those who could not make it to the original session because of time differences. Are you interested in how aircraft and spacecraft work? Have you ever wondered how much time and effort is put in building them? If so, in this session we will talk about what aerospace engineering is, what you study in aerospace engineering, and what you should do if you want to pursue aerospace engineering in college. We will also be playing various games related to aerospace engineering. By the end of this session, I hope to show you what aerospace engineering is and how much fun it is! If you don't know any knowledge about calculus or physics, that is fine! We are just introducing the branch of engineering, not going into any in detailed knowledge.

AP Physics

Are you taking AP Physics 1 next year? If so, I will be providing an introduction to AP Physics 1, giving out important resources and things you need to pay attention to during the course. I will go over the CED (Course-Exam Description), talk about important concepts you will want to study extensively for the AP exam, talk about the formula chart briefly, and share resources that helped me when I took the course. I am also here to answer any questions you might have. If time permits (which it probably will), we will play a couple of GimKits and/or Kahoots to wrap up the session. We are not learning anything big in this session because that's what you're gonna do in school! Note: Date and time might change.
