enjoyed the session learned alot

It implies that you were successful in creating a comfortable learning environment as your student was quite flexible in asking you personal things and sharing his thoughts with you. At the end of the session, when you started teaching negative numbers, he seemed a little bit frightened at first. However, with your help, he seemed really confident afterwards.

In order to visualize the number line, you opened Desmos and showcased how 0.5 sits in between 0 and 1. It shows you understood he was struggling to understand something even though he never mentioned it. I say that you have a really good understanding of your students. Keep it up!!
