Hey Jessica, great first session! Hope you had fun being a tutor :D. I love how you were able to explain each problem in depth--really helps your learners to go through different types of problems! Some things you can improve on, for next time, is maybe have a short slide show about the concepts (like factor pair and multiples) that you intend on going through so that you can explain them to your learners before you use practice problems! That may help promote better understanding. Moreover, don't be shy to interact a bit more with your learners! Say hi, ask them about their day, do a little icebreaker! You also shouldn't be afraid to just call on people by their names to answer a question, and it may help you be a better tutor if you ask the people who answer to explain their reasonings, even if they are wrong. That ways, you can correct exactly what was incorrect or slightly off about their explanation, so that they can understand the topic better! All in all, it was a good start. There are definitely things that can be better, but I can see great potential! If you have any questions/comments/concerns, I'm always free on slack! --stella
