AP World: Mapping from the Top, 1200-1450 (Review Series)
Starts
This AP World study session will focus on reviewing content from 1200-1450 (Units 1-2) through a combination of active recall and resource creation, both of which helped me earn a 5 & that I use in my in-person tutoring services for AP World students in my school.
Target audience: WHAP students that have already learned the content but wish to review it before the AP exam in a collaborative environment.
Purpose: Find largest gaps in recollection, obtain study resources, & better recall unit material through student-created mind organizational charts & infographics.
Materials: Zoom microphone (strongly recommended; alternative is Zoom chat function), Google Slides (recommended; used to build & organize timelines, mind maps, etc. Access isn't required during session, but any resources produced out of sessions will be in the form of GSlides).
Note: Session descriptions below will state Sundays are for "timelines", but whatever organizational resource(s) created is flexible (e.g. Venn diagrams, practice AP question packets/prompts). Intended course structure: Saturdays are for active recall & basic concepts (mind maps); Sundays are for knowledge refinement & drawing connections.
Anyone wishing to cohost, feel free to request. Please only request if you have passed the AP World exam.
