📚Legal Discussions Dialogue Club📚

Thursdays 1:00 AM, Thursdays 2:00 AM

Have you ever considered the interplay between the rules of our society and the way we live? This club is all about discussing how laws influence people, whether they are reasonable, or whether they are effective. All meetings will have a central topic on a certain law or policy such as gun control, drug policies, the death penalty, etc. Feel free to join and share your perspective on the rules that govern everyday society! Join a virtual Dialogue Club to form a community with students from around the world. Dialogue Clubs meet every other week to discuss a new topic. By participating in 3+ Dialogue sessions, you will get a Dialogues portfolio you can submit with your college applications to our university partners.

Reading and Writing for the May 2025 SAT

Thursdays 12:00 AM, Sundays 11:00 PM

Hi! My name is Abby, and I am so excited to help y'all prepare for SAT Reading and Writing! I've been a mentor at my school and a tutor in a variety of subjects for a while now, and I am really looking forward to working with y'all at Schoolhouse. I am an avid reader and writer, so I hope to share some of the skills that I learned when I was studying for the SAT. This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Reading & Writing. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can! Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.
