Esther, You are one of the most brilliant and smart teachers by whom I've ever had a chance to study from . You are patient with your actions and your explanations are super helpful. I feel as though your learners were very vocal about their struggles so I think that point doesn't apply as much. Your learners too were, in my opinion, on the same page when it came to their thought processes. When one of them had a different method of getting to the answer however, you lent a patient ear. Keep it up!

Great job continuously engaging your learners and encouraging them to explain their thinking! I liked how you asked all of the questions, and made sure they understood how you got the right answer. Additionally, after they got their own answer, I also thought it was extremely important how you asked them how they got it, as you can see if they have an incorrect step as well as their thought process.

You definitely understood the material well enough to be tutoring it and you had really good explanations! Nice job showing questions on the screen and annotating on the screen! Visuals like that can be really helpful for learners!

You did an amazing job of conveying a deep understanding of both the material and the SAT test as a whole! At the beginning of the session, I loved that you had your learner sit in silence for a minute and a half, which showed her what timing was like on the actual test. Then, while you were answering questions, you pointed out things that could trip your learners up on the test. On the material side, you did a great job of explaining both what the answer was and how to get to it. Also, it was obvious that you had prepared to make sure your session went smoothly: you already had the site you wanted to use pulled up and some questions you were going to use in mind. There also didn't seem to be any major technical difficulties. Good job!

The tutor is exceptionally well-versed in inferencing questions and provides very detailed and specific explanations to why certain answer choices are wrong or incorrect. For instance, the tutor repeatedly helps the learner understand that these questions require only information from the text and that you do not need to think creatively, a practice that she drives home through each practice question. The tutor also adds more general English tips at the very end of the session to address the learner's additional questions.
