Hey Ashley! You did a really nice job with answering questions that the learner had about resources to ace the SAT. You provided sources, and even talked him through it. You also didn't overwhelm him with multiple things at one time, so kudos to you for that! I marked the other one as advanced as well because, while it was a study session, you still answered his questions and asked him follow-up questions, which showed that you cared, and wanted to understand where he needed extra support with (finding additional materials for the SAT) so good job with this!

Hey Ashley! You did an amazing job with being prepared to run the session - you had the timer going and there weren't any technical difficulties, just a hiccup in the audio at the beginning of the session, but you responded quickly and in a timely manner, so kudos to you! I marked the second option as [N/A] because it is not applicable in this session as it is a study space.

Ashley demonstrated adaptability by addressing Jai's specific struggles with command of evidence questions. For example, when Jai mentioned that he struggled with matching the data to the graph, Ashley provided a detailed explanation and walked him through the process step by step. She also tailored her explanations to Jai's needs, ensuring that he understood how to eliminate incorrect answer choices and focus on the most relevant information.

Ashley actively involved Jai in the session by asking him to share his thought process and explain how he approached the question. She encouraged Jai to reflect on his mistakes and provided constructive feedback to help him improve. This interactive approach fostered a collaborative learning environment and allowed Jai to engage deeply with the material.

Hi Ashley! I marked the first one as [N/A] because it isn't applicable to this type of session (as it is a study space). I marked the second one as advanced. You welcomed the learner to the session, with a kind voice and in a not overly formal way, which definitely improved the quality of your session by lengths. You also asked the learner how you pronounce his name, which showed that you cared. Additionally, you offered help in the beginning of the session to answer any questions that he might have regarding the SAT, which also improved the quality of the session by creating a safe space for him to ask any questions (regarding the SAT). Kudos to you for doing all of these things!

Ashley maintained a positive and encouraging tone throughout the session, which helped build Jai's confidence. She acknowledged his efforts and progress, creating a supportive and comfortable learning environment. Ashley's patient and approachable demeanor made it easy for Jai to ask questions and seek clarification, fostering a sense of trust and collaboration.

Ashley demonstrated a strong understanding of the material, particularly in explaining how to approach command of evidence questions. She provided clear strategies, such as highlighting the claim, analyzing the chart, and cross-referencing the data with the answer choices. Her explanations were thorough and methodical, ensuring that Jai understood the reasoning behind each step. Ashley also emphasized the importance of checking the graph and matching it with the data, which was a valuable tip for tackling similar questions.
