The tutor did a great job letting their student explain their answers, and only helped when needed. Even when the student got it completely wrong, like on the a*sqrt (x+b) question, they allowed the learner to explain their thinking fully. And they only jumped in when needed, or asked, as well as helped to find the errors and provide solutions to go about the problem properly next time.

The tutor was able to recognize where the student was having trouble, but also what they excelled at. This allowed them to prioritize certain topics and maximize their time together. Like for vocab questions, they were able to help the learner (who had some understanding) but they were able to fill in the gaps to realize why certain answers either truly work or they do not.

Minh engaged the student beautifully. It was like they were study partners. The student was comfortable asking and Minh was letting the student make mistakes and learn from them. Minh the followed by asking questions that made the student spot their mistake, and then he follows in with the solution.

I think that although the beginning was a bit awkward, it progressed well and the conversation flowed well amongst you and learners! I think that you definitely strengthened learners' confidence when you congratulated those that got correct questions. You also consistently asked if anyone has questions, and stated that you were open to them and will answer. By showing that the learner's understanding was a top priority, you created a very comfortable environment. Overall, great job with this session!
