Being a first-generation American to an immigrant mother comes with it difficulties ranging from generational and cultural background clashing together. However, what this has taught me over the years is how to overcome adversities leading to a curiosity for science and arts. With hard work and passion, I aspired to have a degree in Biochemistry, leading to cosmetic scientist or dermatology.
