SAT Math Bootcamp

Saturdays 1:00 PM, Sundays 1:00 PM

Hi, my name is Tazmin, and I’m excited to guide you through this SAT Math series. I’ve been actively preparing for the SAT and enjoy breaking down concepts in a clear and structured way to help others improve. This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for the SAT Math section by focusing on the most important concepts and question types. Throughout the series, we will work through targeted practice problems, review key strategies, and build the skills needed to approach questions with confidence and accuracy. You’ll be learning in a small group setting, which allows for interactive sessions, discussion, and individual support where needed. The goal is not just to practice, but to understand patterns and improve your problem-solving approach for the exam. Active participation is encouraged to get the most out of each session. Thank you, and I look forward to our sessions together.

You were well prepared and structured the session in a clear, organized way that made it easy to follow along. Your step by step explanations of the system of equations problem, especially when discussing conditions for no solution, showed a strong understanding of the material. Using Desmos to visually demonstrate parallel lines helped connect algebraic reasoning to graphical interpretation, which strengthened conceptual understanding. One small improvement could be pausing briefly after key algebraic steps to check that everyone is comfortable before moving forward.

Thank you for the help! I love how you incorporated Desmos into the process for quick understanding. If you don't mind could you explain some of the symbols and how to use them on desmos because there were specific ones you used that I had no idea about like the regression sign. Thank you again!
