Thank you for hosting this wonderful session on 3D-printing! I enjoyed designing an idea that could be built with a 3D printer. I came up with a biosensor diagnostics device to diagnose Parkinson’s Disease based on the biomarker alpha-synuclein concentrations. A polymer that can be utilized is chitosan, which could be functionalized with gold nanoparticles for increased sensitivity to easily detect even the smallest changes in alpha-synuclein concentrations. Thank you for the information on 3D-printing and the reflection questions on the real-world applications and ethics! This is a very memorable session. 😇 💯

Thank you for this amazing session! I have learned a lot about swarm intelligence, and I was able to come up with an application of this concept regarding a community-based emergency response plan. Thank you for teaching me a lot about biomimicry! I learned a lot in a single session, such as about concrete, honeycomb structures, and so forth. Moreover, I learned that the three essential elements are ethos, reconnect, and emulate, in which humans should acknowledge that we are not separate from natural processes and structures.🌿🌱🌵 The tutors were really informative and explained beyond the slides, which was really helpful and impressive! 😇

Thank you for this session! I learned so much about adhesion and other chemical properties, including intermolecular forces and interactions. I also learned about real-world examples in nature such as sea stars, spider's web, and gecko feet. The tutor was very informative and interactive by sharing additional knowledge and experience beyond the slides presentation, as well as asking us what we think and know throughout the entire session! 😇

Thank you for this session! I learned a lot about Voronoi tessellations. I came up with cool ideas for spatial visualization of municipal waste management for a city and the visualization of areas with less to more severe impact from different kinds of natural disasters (color-coded) such as earthquakes, tsunamis, etc. This awesome session fueled my creativity! :)

I loved this session! It was so much fun to learn about the applications of biomimicry and how nature can inspire real-world solutions. The tutor was so kind, patient, and interactive, it made the experience even better! I got to come up with my own solution too, which was really exciting since it was so hands-on and creative.
