Drop-in office hours for Schoolhouse Hackathon Mascot Design Contest!
Hello everyone! Today is day 1 of the first-ever Schoolhouse Hackathon, we are hosting a Schoolhouse Mascot Contest!!! Anyone is welcomed to be creative and submit their original work. The goal of the mascot is to represent Schoolhouse values to foster the Schoolhouse community's spirit and pride.
Submission Guidelines:
- Submissions are due no later than Thursday, August 19 at 12 pm PST.
- Each individual can submit multiple entries.
- Name your file correctly: FirstName_LastInitial_MascotName.

Design Guidelines:
- Mascot artwork/design should be original work only. Clip art images are not permitted.
- Mascot can be a person, animal, alien, or anything you want!
- Mascot should be a full-body image, this means the entire body should be drawn and may not be cut off at the knees, waist, or shoulders.
- Mascot may be created in any medium, digital or hand-drawn.
- Digital artwork should fit in a 1080*1080 px canvas.
- Mascot should be placed on a white background. No other elements are allowed. Do not include your name in the image.
- You're encouraged to use the brand colors.
- Formats accepted: PDF, JPG, PNG.
We can't wait to see your beautiful artwork! Selected artwork will be featured on social media. The product team will vote internally to select the best 10 artwork and showcase them in the closing ceremony. All schoolhouse learners and tutors will be able to vote for their favorite ones in the closing ceremony. The Schoolhouse design team will follow up and coordinate with the winner to revise and make it the official mascot after the hackathon.
