About

Hi everyone! I just recently graduated from high school with my associate degree and I am here to help others with SAT Prep. Some of my favorite things to do in my spare time include spending time with my family, dancing (ballet), reading, and doing anything creative. As a student who scored in the 94th percentile for all SAT test takers and 98th percentile for my state, I aim to help others achieve their SAT goals and I hope to learn valuable skills along the way!

On engagement, you spoke actively with learners through their chat responses and asked questions to both engage learners and build comprehension. You asked learners how they formulated their answer. For example, you asked "How did you guys get answer C, which is the correct answer by the way so great job for that." This simultaneously asks learners to explain their thinking while building confidence and encouraging them, so great job! I think you could engage learners a bit more actively by asking them to do specific portions of a problem you are walking them through.

You consistently encourage learners after they solve a problem and reassure them when they have questions. You create a comfortable environment by comforting learners when they struggle with a difficult problems with phrases like "Yeah, this is a hard question, let's go through it together" when they indicate that they are struggling individually.
