Yulduz was really patient, and she was trying the most she can to help her students. That is great. I liked how she cared for each learner in the session.

Clearly, you were very well-prepared for this session. You did a great job with explaining each concept to Ngok, and I liked how you encouraged her asking questions and attempted to engage her throughout the slideshow. You explained the concepts very well, though I think there were a few incidents where you talked about WHY a certain concept works the way it does (I recall you explaining why a semicolon and a period couldn't both be the right answer very well), although I do understand that when it comes to Reading and Writing, it's much more difficult to actually explain why a concept works the way it does more than just "it is how it is", haha. I think emphasizing the pause when you read out a sentence with a semicolon and comparing it to the 'pause' with a sentence separated by a period would solidify the idea that periods and semicolons typically behave in the same manner. Even reading out each part of the sentence separately would certainly help.

You did a great job demonstrating how to solve certain problems while also providing Kana full autonomy in her problem-solving skills, providing only guidance to her rather than telling her what the answer should be. This fosters independent thinking and problem-solving skills.

Yulduz, you did a good job at conveying your understanding of the material. It's good that you checked the learner's prior knowledge by asking if she knew certain properties of logarithms. This is very effective because it allows you to get a good grasp at their level of understanding of the material. For future sessions, words of encouragement could be something you could experiment with. You did a great job!

She made it real simple and understanding.

She is nice and respectful throughout everything I have seen, and never puts the learner down for her questions. Good job!

Yes, despite the hesitation, the learner was able to work through difficult questions with your guidance. Your explanations helped clarify their misunderstandings, which is a sign of progress.

Great sob faciliating conversation! Love the small talk, and thank you for asking Ngok how to pronounce her name. :) You were very kind to start off with some small-talk and check-in with the Learner occasionally. You were very kind to check in on them and see how they were doing, and I appreciate the advice about taking care of oneself and making sure not to burn out. You were patiently listening to the Learner, which I enjoy. You were very sweet to consider Ngok's sleepiness, and I appreciate that you didn't take it personally—I understand that sometimes, yawning could be taken offensively as if she thought your lesson was boring, but you were very gracious and empathetic, which is exactly what a tutor should be. You were very considerate throughout the session.
