Tri, you did a wonderful job making this an active session for your learner. You started by asking her what her previous experience is with the material and if she wants specific topics to be covered. This led to a really targeted and fruitful session between you and the learner. Next time try asking the learner "How would you begin solving this problem?" before you show them how to solve the problem as a way to help them do even more of the math during the session. You also did a good job making sure you were writing down the practice problems correctly and what she was or wasn't familiar with throughout the session. So glad you're part of our community. He was really patient explaining exponential related problems and I might have to practice some percentage related problem so that I can solve these problems and again you are a great tutor because you didn't lash out when I haven't understood the concept like traditional teachers do so it was refreshing to see that.
