Math for the August 2025 SAT®

Mondays 10:00 PM, Thursdays 10:00 PM

Hi! My name is Saina, and I am so excited to work with you along your SAT journey! This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Math. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can! Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

Complete Desmos Guide

This will be a one-time session going over everything you need to know about Desmos. As someone who scored an 800 on the math portion, I truly believe that Desmos is the key to reaching your goal score. There will be a little bit of time at the end to ask questions about Desmos, or anything else about the SAT. I look forward to working with you guys!

Digital SAT Format

This session will cover the format of the digital SAT and how to navigate Bluebook. In addition, we will go over study plans/strategies to help you figure out how to approach your SAT. This session is highly recommended for individuals taking the SAT for the first time.

SAT Vocab Prep

We will go over word part definitions each week followed by using those definitions to deduce the meanings of whole words. Every third session will be about words that are difficult to figure out with only word part definitions to help you better prepare for difficult SAT Vocab questions.
