Hi! My name is Hollis, and I’m excited to offer my expertise as an SAT tutor to help you achieve your academic goals. My teaching philosophy is that I believe that anyone can learn anything if they want to and that everyone would rather succeed than fail. In English, often students just haven't learned the concept yet (even I relate to this as the tutor). My classroom is a safe space for all learners as we try to explore new concepts we don't already know and refine our understanding of what we have learned in the past. I try to focus on students in the classroom and targeted instruction to produce better learning outcomes when developing lessons.
