The tutor made the students feel comfortable through thorough interactions (such as making sure they pronounced their names correctly and engaging in conversation with them through the introductory prompts). Though the tutor had technical difficulties, he made sure to remind the students to ask clarifying questions along the way (even through the chat) to make sure that they can follow along. Given that it was an introductory session, while introduction were given, the tutor tried to make extra conversation (like building off the shared hobby of Rubix cube solving with a learner) to really get to know the learners, which was commendable.
