About

Hi everyone! I'm a high school student who loves sharing what I know and learning from others. I'm a member of an FRC (FIRST Robotics Competition) team and I'm really into digital arts. I also enjoy traditional media arts, especially monochromatic pencil sketching. I'm here to lend a hand with SAT prep and I'm excited to help out with AP Computer Science, Algebra I & II, Pre-Calculus, and AP Physics 1 & 2. Let's work together and make learning fun!

The tutor possesses great active learning skills. This can be seen first of all by the way the lesson is started- with a social conversation. Also, the tutor tries to answer every question. The tutor lets the other students solve the problems by themselves and doesn’t give away the answer. One improvement that can be made is for the tutor to try the best to solicit questions from the other students by asking “who has a question”? after each practice problem.

The learners indeed make progress. At first, they seem to be lost during the problems, not knowing what approach to take to solve the problem. But, by the end, as the tutor provides explanations, they become more and more able to understand and solve later questions.
