Khan Academy Get ready for composite and inverse functions
- Ended Sun, Jul 17, 2022
Hii!! In this series, we're going to go over how functions are not only like magic teleporters, but also a lot like slime. We're going to work on stretching, scaling, and flipping functions. Then we're going to figure out how the magic teleporters can work in reverse too! At the end of this series, we will do the unit test. This series is a good fit for you if you're looking to build on what you previously learned on functions or looking to take a Precalculus course in the near future and want to get a headstart on this unit(https://www.khanacademy.org/math/precalculus/x9e81a4f98389efdf:composite/). Here's the Khan Academy unit link if you're curious! (https://www.khanacademy.org/math/get-ready-for-precalculus/x65c069afc012e9d0:get-ready-for-composite-and-inverse-functions) Lastly, note: I'll be adding more sessions as we go on, and for more catch-up sessions: just ask!

Khan Academy Get ready for polynomials
- Ended Sat, Jul 9, 2022
Hello! In this series, we're going to go over the Get ready for polynomials unit on Khan Academy and by the end of it, complete the unit test together. You'll find this series helpful if you're looking to brush up on Algebra 2 topics like polynomial factorization, polynomial arithmetic, polynomial division, etc. This could also be helpful if you're looking to take a Pre-Calculus course in the near future. Basically, feel free to join in, even if it's just to learn about the awesome awesomeness of polynomials! Here's the Khan Academy link if you're curious - https://www.khanacademy.org/math/get-ready-for-precalculus/x65c069afc012e9d0:get-ready-for-polynomials Note: I'll be adding more sessions as we go on, and for catch-up sessions, just ask! Hope to see you soon!

Around the World in less than 80 Minutes(3 PM UTC) :)
- Ended Sun, Sep 25, 2022
One of SHW's greatest assets is our community's diversity, with thousands of active members having their own unique backgrounds, identities, and stories. Through this series, we'll educate each other on our own backgrounds by shining a spotlight on these stories and work together to define and analyze the importance of not just having, but effectively living, in an increasingly diverse society. Each session will explore a different facet of what makes each of us who we are — from the foods we consume to the music we listen to — through group activities, mini-show-and-tells, discussions (and maybe some debates), and a ton of storytelling. Expect to be actively involved, either in the chat or preferably with your microphone. Check out some of the sessions below, to get an idea of the structure! More sessions and topics will be added based on learner interests and suggestions! This series will be running parallel to those run by these awesome SHW tutors @Iqra A(https://schoolhouse.world/u/79319&celebrate) and @Simran R(https://schoolhouse.world/u/11162&celebrate). Check out their series to find one that best suits your schedule! See you all there!

Forms of linear equations
We'll mainly continue revising coordinate geometry(the content covered in this chapter-https://byjus.com/maths/coordinate-geometry/) and do some problems. We may also introduce the grade 11 chapter - 'straight lines' if there is time. This session was made for Balan but anybody interested is free to join. Please have a pencil/pen and paper ready as I will expect you to work through problems with me during the session. Hope to see you there!
