You adapted really naturally each time the learner struggled with wording, structure, or choosing what to include. You rephrased questions, broke tasks into smaller steps, and even created example slide titles to help the learner visualize what to do. I would like to see you continue checking in more frequently when the learner says things like “I don’t know what to put here,” just to reinforce that you’re following their pace and supporting them where they need it most.

You were clearly prepared and guided the session smoothly from the start. You asked focused questions about the learner’s project, pulled up the rubric immediately, and offered specific examples about slide layout, visuals, and what to include. I really liked how you modeled how to read directions and turn them into actionable steps. I would like to see you pause occasionally after explaining something, just to make sure the learner fully understood before moving on.

You created a comfortable, low-pressure environment. You were patient through tech issues, encouraged the learner’s ideas (“Your information is great so far”), and reassured them when they felt overwhelmed. You strengthened their confidence by telling them exactly what they were doing well and how close they already were to a strong presentation. If anything, I’d encourage you to keep leaning into that — short, specific compliments really motivate the learner.
