Please come into this course with at least a firm knowledge of calculus (Calculus AB or BC). We will not test these skills, but they prove that you have the mathematical rigor required to succeed in this class.

Each week, we will go over key topics from each unit and solve practice problems.

Each week, you can bring in homework or any other problems and we will go over them step-by-step. We can also go over practice tests, any topics that need to be reintroduced, and plenty other things up to the learners discretion!

This course will host bi-weekly sessions on Algebra 1. We will be mainly focusing on completing the first 8 units of Khan Academy's Algebra 1 course (not directly, but I will be making content, lectures, and practice problems that relate and are similar to them with in-depth logic and explanations). This series assumes that you have taken all prerequisites for Algebra 1, and you have proficiency in the skills required to be successful here. I would take the course challenge for Pre-Algebra and 8th Grade Math to assess my mastery of concepts in order to do this. I recommend an 80% + score on both of the course challenges before taking this series, because this series will go relatively fast. More sessions will be added soon, so do not fret that there are only 2 sessions showing up.
