It was a very interactive session. I learned many new things in the session. The sessions improved my SAT math score by almost 150. It was delightful and a lot of fun.

Poyraz basically did everything perfectly. He first had the students do the problem, but then explained it completely afterwards. On the next problem, you asked the student to explain, which allows you to know if they really understood the concept. I think some improvements you could make are asking more questions in the initial I do section. For instance, if you state that "10 is the least common multiple", later on you could ask "what is the least common multiple" in order to consistently engage the students. Additionally, when someone gets the answer wrong, you could ask them to explain their reasoning so that you can gauge where they went wrong. This can help with correcting misconceptions. But overall amazing :)

You definitely were well prepared. Everything was ready and you had a clear plan. I really liked that you annotated so that the student could better understand the concepts. There was no sign of struggle throughout the session, indicating that you had mastery of the content, and, therefore, were very well equipped to teach the students.

Yes, the tutor seemed to be well prepared for the session. His explanations seemed to be very effective-he made difficult questions seem significantly easier. He read the question line by line, checking the learner's understanding with each line read. He gave the learner opportunities to approach the question herself, and encourage her when she got the wrong answer. Moreover, he showed two approaches to solving a question which is pivotal for the SAT. He ensured that the learner understood the question and its approach by actively engaging her. His additional suggestions (eg - including positive and negative for a root) made the session even more informative. His method of annotating the question and drawing figures while solving made it more convenient for the learner to follow the explanations.

Yes. Poyraz constantly checks in with the students to see if they got the concept, and they frequently respond with "I understand". When the students did not understand on the first try, he went over a different problem with the same concept to make sure that they got the concept. I really liked this.

The beginning really established a great tone. I really liked how you asked everyone how they were doing and then explained the plan for the session. You also stated multiple timed to "not be afraid to ask questions", which really helps students feel more comfortable. You also praise the students with "good job" if they get a question right, while also not making a big deal if a student got an answer wrong. Really awesome!

The tutor ensures a comfortable learning environment by asking numerous questions along the way and by engaging the learners. He encourages them when they make mistakes which is one of the most fundamental aspects of creating a comfortable learning environment. Conversations about the complexity of the problem and SAT makes the learner feel accustomed to the sessions. In fact, the conclusion of the session seemed to be very constructive as the tutor wishes them the best and offers them his assistance if they need any help.
