Yes, the tutor seemed to be well prepared for the session. His explanations seemed to be very effective-he made difficult questions seem significantly easier. He read the question line by line, checking the learner's understanding with each line read. He gave the learner opportunities to approach the question herself, and encourage her when she got the wrong answer. Moreover, he showed two approaches to solving a question which is pivotal for the SAT. He ensured that the learner understood the question and its approach by actively engaging her. His additional suggestions (eg - including positive and negative for a root) made the session even more informative. His method of annotating the question and drawing figures while solving made it more convenient for the learner to follow the explanations.

The tutor ensures a comfortable learning environment by asking numerous questions along the way and by engaging the learners. He encourages them when they make mistakes which is one of the most fundamental aspects of creating a comfortable learning environment. Conversations about the complexity of the problem and SAT makes the learner feel accustomed to the sessions. In fact, the conclusion of the session seemed to be very constructive as the tutor wishes them the best and offers them his assistance if they need any help.
