About
I'm a physics teacher with both high school and university teaching experience as well as industry experience as an aerospace engineer. Although my teaching experience is primarily in physics, math is heavily involved in physics and also in my previous career, so I am able to help with most math subjects. I have taught levels from high school conceptual physics through AP (Physics 1, Physics C: Mech, Physics C: E&M) and introductory undergraduate calculus-based physics for science/engineering majors at a university. I try to teach students how to think about problems and become independent learners rather than just showing them how to solve a specific problem. My physics teaching experience is in mechanics and waves, general and special relativity (simple intro level), electricity, and magnetism. I've also done some math tutoring and high school substitute chemistry teaching.
