Hey everyone! I'm Rahul. In this series, we will be covering the coding language Ruby. Ruby is a coding language designed for simplicity and productivity, which makes it a very easy language to pick up.  It would be very helpful if you had some coding experience, but none is required, and in fact, it is easy to learn some Ruby without prior experience. We will start with the basics of Ruby, and work all the way up to harder subjects. If time allows, we will do kahoot or quizizz at the end of each class. Can't wait to see you all here!

Intro to CAD(Computer Aided Design)

CAD helps us design a lot of things we know, including buildings, constructions, and even special effects in movies. CAD is a software program which helps you brainstorm, make, and sometimes even bring your models to life! This class will help you learn the Basics of CAD, so you can dive into the world of design, all while critically thinking and solving challenges. We will start with learning what CAD is and basics of it, and eventually we will be designing cool things like bird feeders, rockets, and cars! Get ready, because this is going to be a load of fun!

Note: You will need a laptop/computer for this series, but you will not need to install anything.

Geometry Study Group

Need to get a head-start on geometry for the school year? Or do you just need a review? If either one is true, then this is a great course for you. We will cover the majority of topics covered in high school geometry. We will meet everyday for a little more than a week and study different topics.

We will cover:
Lines,
Angles,
Shapes,
Circles,
Special Right Triangles,
Basic Trigonometry,
Analytical Geometry,
Transformations,
Congruence and Similarity,
and Constructions.

Essentials of Trigonometry

Intro to HTML5 Canvas While Learning HTML and JavaScript

Hey everyone! My name is Rahul, and I’m excited to come to you with this session. We will create multiple canvas projects, all while learning JavaScript and HTML. In this course, we will also learn how to draw shapes on the canvas, animate them, and in the end we will create a visually appealing project together that you can interact with. Basic prior experience with HTML and Javascript will help, but none is required. Either way, I will explain each function and how it works while we are creating code. My code editor of choice is Codepen, since you can access it from the web and no download is required. However, you are welcome to use any code editor. We also might do kahoots if we have time. We will have classes every Thursday for about 8 weeks. I would recommend registering before the first session, but I will close registrations sometime after the first session. Hope to see you all there!
